For the past couple of lessons, we’d had the pleasure of an additional student – I’ll call her X. I’d planned something for the three of them today, but since SG was absent, I decided to see where ‘how’s your weekend’ would lead to.
X and her husband, like a few families I know, prepare the week’s (Monday – Friday) meals at the weekend, and then freeze them, since they are a bit pressed for time during the working week. And, J, I found out, is on a no-carbohydrate diet, all of which made for a lively lesson on food.
